Eaten delicious. Unfortunately closed due to bankruptcy due to the corona pandemic.

A great restaurant with very good, partly traditional, partly Mediterranean-style cuisine. The service is always friendly. Also recommended for families with children!

Our waiter was very friendly, attentive and quick. The starter soup was very good and enough for two, the main courses (cordon bleu with chips and onion and mushroom schnitzel with fried potatoes) were obviously fresh (and made from fresh ingredients) and cooked to the point, the (separately served) side salad had a great dressing and the dessert was also homemade and tasted good. Food and drinks always came quickly, the price matched the performance, so there is no reason to deduct anything. All in all highly recommended.

Unfortunately, the staff is no longer trained. On our last visit, we were served by a "student" / very young adult. This obviously had little or no experience in the catering trade, so it took a long time until everyone had their drinks, as something was always forgotten. Not bad at first, if there is specialist staff who properly trains the people. Unfortunately, it was also the case that during the last two visits, some main dishes or parts of them could no longer be offered because the ingredients were out of stock. This can be a sign of freshness or bad planning. In any case, I find it a bad sign if this is the case on two consecutive visits. The card is still of a manageable size, which is usually stands for the freshness of the preparation. I personally, but that's my subjective feeling, think that the quality, service and taste no longer correspond to what we were used to from Gasthaus Stoffelen and its last (eponymous) owner.

Delicious asparagus eaten, including excellent asparagus soup. Menu varies with season, so the asparagus time is recommended. A lot of asparagus, with clarified butter and potatoes. Choice of classic (ham, egg) or schnitzel or something. Friendly service in a somewhat boring, solid German atmosphere. Outdoor terrace in the summer.

The inn has a really cozy atmosphere. The service is very friendly and leaves you the wishes from the eyes (Nina). The food was very good. The menu offers a good selection of good home cooking. I'll be back again - Greetings from Duisburg.

Traditional inn in the middle of the Golddorf Kessel. Good food, in season also dishes with fresh asparagus. Very popular with guests. Friendly staff.

The asparagus season has started again. I have eaten delicious asparagus here. Sparger Total menu is highly recommended! I come here more often.
